The 17:6 Network mission of working together to support, encourage and advance the Kingdom, is fueled by a dedicated team. This team strives to both expand the Network and bring additional content and training to the churches within the Network. It is through these efforts that the mission moves forward and succeeds.
Founder
Harold Bullock is the founder of Hope Church, an innovative church in Fort Worth, Texas. Hope (now a congregation of about 1,000) began in 1978 with a vision to help with planting churches in the major cities of the world. Since 1978, people going out from Hope have planted more than 70 churches and have helped catalyze over 160. Harold and his wife, Deborah, have three grown children and eight grandchildren.
Harold’s vast ministry experience and study of God’s word has also provided him the opportunity to coach and speak into the lives of pastors and ministry leaders all over the world. Over the years, Harold has written books, produced conferences and created training materials that have greatly benefitted the members of the 17:6 Network and many others. Executive Director
Randal Lanthripe is the founding and current Senior Pastor of Church in the Valley, which is currently in Ontario, California. In 1987, Randal and his wife, Cindy, founded Church in the Valley in Diamond Bar, California after receiving training from Harold Bullock at Hope Church. Since then four churches and a campus of Church in the Valley have been planted out of the original work that was started in Diamond Bar, CA. Randal and Cindy have been married since 1979, and have two grown children, four grandsons, and two granddaughters.
In 2012, Randal became the Director of a developing Network and has served to expand and develop the network since that time. Randal has a heart to see life changing churches multiplied in the cities of the world and keeps the 17:6 Network striving toward that goal through building relationships with leaders in the Kingdom all over the world that are interested in becoming apart of the 17:6 Network. Randal plays a key role in the mobilization of the 17:6 Network training programs being implemented at 17:6 Network churches. He is also the Southern California Regional Director of The Antioch Project, a ministry training program of the 17:6 Network that trains men and women for church planting and long-term vocational ministry.
Director of Network Advancement
Matt Sturdevant is the Lead Pastor at Hope Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife Jessica have been married since 2002 and have one daughter and one son. Matt joined Hope Church staff in 2006, he is responsible for supervision and oversight of the staff, development of church systems, strategic planning and leadership development and training programs.
Matt contributes to 17:6 Network by creating strategies and ideas for continued expansion and growth. Matt creates opportunities for pastors and individuals to further connect with 17:6 Network. He also works with the recruitment, training and development of the next generation of leaders in the Kingdom.
Program Administrator
Marisa is a member of Church in the Valley in Ontario, CA and serves in the High School Student Ministry. She received her Bachelor’s in Christian Behavioral Science in 2022 and her Bachelor’s in Biology in 2023, both from California Baptist University.
She has been working for 17:6 Network since 2024. She administrates 17:6 training programs by communicating with and supporting the 17:6 Network pastors leading the training programs at their churches. She also assists in the creation and production of new training programs, mission trips, and marketing materials for the 17:6 Network.
