Understanding, Shaping, and Sustaining a Kingdom-Centered Church Culture

Every church develops a “way we do things here”—an underlying culture that shapes how people lead, serve, and relate. Building a Kingdom Culture explores how that culture forms, how it reflects the heart of its founders and leaders, and how it can be intentionally aligned with the Kingdom of God.

You’ll learn to:

• Understand organizational culture from a biblical perspective—its divine origins, human dynamics, and the factors that make every church unique.

• Identify how founders and leaders embed culture through their actions, systems, and values.

• Discern the stages of church life and how leadership roles shift with each stage.

• Recognize how a church’s culture shapes spiritual growth, ministry effectiveness, and decision-making.

• Explore the concept of the local church as a Kingdom Colony—a community of heaven’s citizens living under Christ’s reign.

• Learn how citizens of heaven and their leaders should relate, lead, and serve one another in grace and truth.

• Develop strategies for culture change, including the requirements for effective transformation, staff alignment, leader training, and sustainable buy-in.

• Apply Kingdom culture principles to your own church context—understanding mission, methods, and values that reflect heaven’s priorities on earth.
